The setup process for 33.6k modem is similar to 56k modem with only one additional step.

After you have completed the steps outlined in the previous section use the right mouse button to click on the PowerNet icon again. Choose Properties.

Click on the Configure button.

Click on the Options tab. In the Connection Control area click the Bring up terminal window after dialing option, make sure the option is checked.

Then click the OK button to close the dialog box. Click on the OK button to complete the dialup process.

When you're connected to PowerNet a pop up windows will be displayed, click on the enable keyboard option and type in your login name, your password. After this type ppp and press the Enter key. Click on the continue button and you'll be connected to the Internet.
